MBDCA Awards of Excellence
The MBDCA Awards of Excellence are given out annually to the highest scoring dogs in Obedience, Rally, and (coming soon) Agility in any venue that mixed-breed dogs compete in. The winners in each category receive:
- A medallion
- A $30 VISA debit card
- A donation made on their behalf to an approved animal welfare organization of their choice.
The award was created and is sponsored by club member Ann Dahlin, who donates the medallion and VISA card each year for the award recipients. The animal welfare donation is made by the MBDCA and will be 10% of the remaining account balance after all expenses are paid for the year, split evenly among all the awards. The MBDCA provides a list of approved animal welfare organizations for winners to choose from.
